Mile High Park Special Events- Parking Lot Information Mile High Park Paved Parking Lots are available to rent for ride and drives, flea markets, car lot displays, driving schools, community gatherings, and much more. In combination with renting parking lot space, you may also utilize our indoor facilities ranging from small conference rooms to a large convention hall. ** Due to the condition of the pavement, Lot 4 will be used for flea markets, car lot displays, community gatherings, etc. No driving courses will be allowed on Lot 4. Square Feet Dimensions Light Poles Electrical There is no electricity provided on the parking lots. If any electrical power is required, the Client must rent a generator. Please see vendor list for contact information. Restrooms There are no portable restrooms available on the parking lots. If portable restrooms are required, the Client must rent them. Please see vendor list for contact information. Security The Client is responsible for all costs of additional security for the parking lot. Mile
High Racing and Entertainment will provide one unarmed security guard for all properties on
Mile High Park. Mile High Racing and
Entertainment reserves the right to determine the level of security staffing needed. If armed guards are required, it is the Client’s duty to contact Commerce City Police Department at 303-688-9254. Tents Permits must be acquired for all sizes of tents located on the parking lot. You must request a Temporary Use Permit from the Commerce City Building Department at 303-289-3683. According to South Adams County Fire Marshall, there must be an extinguisher in the tent and the tent must be fire rated from the rental store. Also a “no smoking” sign must be on the tent. For more information regarding fire codes, please call the Adams County Fire Marshall at 303-288-0835. If Client rents Lot 4, you may stake your tent. If Client rents Lot 1, you must use water barrels for your tent. If the Client uses stakes to secure their tents, they must use an asphalt repair kit to fill all holes as well as repair any damages made to the parking lot from the tent stakes. Water Access We have a few water hydrants on site. Please consult with
Mile High Garbage Removal Clients are welcome to use
Mile High Racing and Entertainment’s compactor within reason. The Client is responsible for moving all waste, trash and debris to the compactor. All abandoned waste, trash and debris will be subject to a removal fee based on the discretion of
Mile High Racing management. Mile High
Racing and Entertainment reserves the right to judge whether roll away receptacles are deemed necessary. Please see vendor list for contact information. Insurance
Mile High Racing and
Entertainment must be listed as additional insured for the following that applies: Commercial General Liability- $1,000,000 per occurrence $2,000,000 aggregate $1,000,000 Umbrella Worker’s Compensation and Employers’ Liability- $100,000 each accident $500,000 disease: policy limit $100,000 disease: each employee Automobile Liability- $1,000,000 aggregate Paint All use of paint on parking lots is prohibited. If client needs to outline a course on the parking lot they are to use chalk. Dirt When using the Dirt Lot for events, it is the Client’s responsibility to rent a Water Truck to maintain dust/dirt levels. It is also the Client’s responsibility to hire a dirt excavator to maintain the safety and upkeep of the lot. Please see vendor list for contact information. If it is absolutely necessary for the Client to bring dirt on to the lot, it is the Client’s responsibility to remove the dirt within 24 hours of the event. If dirt is not removed at this time, a $700 dirt removal charge billed to the Client. |
