Liquor Prices and Policies
Thank you for choosing The Reserve for your event. We are able to service all the alcohol related needs for your party. Our planners will meet with you and design our services to match your needs. We have a wide variety of options to meet many different service and budget requirements.
Once menu design, service needs and beverage selections have been approved a contract will be issued with the Estimated Charges and a 50% deposit required. Ten (10) days prior to the event we require a final guaranteed guest count and full payment of Estimated Charges. Final billing will reflect any variations from the Estimated Charges and Actual Costs of the event.
There are 3 service options available to you for your events:
Full Host:
A fully hosted bar is where you wish to provide bar service to your guests and you don’t want your guests to have to pay for drinks. We provide many options for you to meet your guest’s needs and your budget. If each bar exceeds $300.00 in sales we will waive labor charges.
Cash Bar:
A cash bar is when you want bar service available but you want to have your guests pay for their own drinks. We set up cash registers and charge your guests as they order drinks. In the case of cash bars, we charge a set up fee of $150.00 per bar. If each bar exceeds $300.00 in sales we will waive labor charges.
Partial Host:
A partial host bar is when choose to provide part of the bar service but not the entire service required. You could choose to provide specific items like the wine or beer, or decide to host up to a specific dollar figure. We provide the rest of the service on a cash basis.
Charges will reflect bar cost, service labor charges, administrative service charge and sales tax.
The Reserve accepts personal checks, money orders, Visa and MasterCard for payment.
Charitable or non-profit organizations, exempt from sales tax will be required to fill out a sales tax exemption form, per event, in order for The Reserve to waive sales tax charges. Ask your planner to provide this for you.
The client will be responsible for payment of the confirmed guest count or ninety (90) percent of the originally contracted (i.e estimated) count, whichever is higher.
Administrative Service Charge
To continually insure the highest level of service an 18% Administrative Service Charge will be added on all, beverage and labor. Sales tax is applicable to all service charges. Gratuities for staff are at your discretion.
Labor Charges
To insure the highest level of service possible for your event, event staff is charged at the following rates per service hour:
Event Staff
$20.00 per service hour
(Includes all Service Staff and Bartenders)
Liquor Policies
All alcoholic beverages must be served by Reserve personnel. Tableside service may be performed by qualified catering staff and must be 21 years of age.
Donated liquor must come from an approved distributor with proper documentation to meet Colorado Laws.
Final Guest Counts will be verified with final catering guarantee.
Reserve staff will not serve alcohol to minors or obviously intoxicated guests. All guests who appear to be 35 or younger are subject to requests for proper identification.
Should an alcohol related issue develop, Reserve management will notify the contact person for the event. If the problem continues, Reserve management will take steps to solve the problem up to and including stopping the event.
It is against Colorado Law for an adult to provide alcohol to a minor. Should an adult guest obtain liquor for a minor, Reserve management will take steps to solve the problem up to and including stopping the event.
Payment Options
Once the level of Alcohol Service has been determined you will receive a contract with an ESTIMATED COST times the estimated number of guests. At that time a deposit of 50% of the ESTIMATED COST is due. Ten (10) days prior to the event we require a final guaranteed guest count and full payment of Estimated Charges. Final billing will reflect any variations from the Estimated Catering Charges and Actual Costs of the event.
Prices do not include service labor, service charge or tax. When you decide on your final Alcohol Service you will receive a contract with all charges estimated to give you a complete price per person.

Special Requests
The Reserve has the ability to supply whatever you request. Liquor ordered that is not in our inventory must be purchased by the case, we must charge you for the entire case and, by Colorado Law leftover alcohol cannot leave the facility. We will attempt to return for credit any unused alcohol, but most suppliers will only accept unbroken cases for credit.
